CLARIFICATION: January 24th (Saturday) at The Glen!

We’re gearing up for our first Theology Matters presentation and discussion on Sunday, January 24^th at 3pm, and I hope you’ll join us!

In a sense, everything is a matter of theology, and Theology Matters is a space set apart for exploring practical embodiment of the gospel. Experts in their field get a chance to share their passion about a theme and answer questions, while I aim to point out the symbiotic relationship between theology and practice, practice and theology.

We’re thrilled to have Tiffany Elder as the featured guest at our first Theology Matters. Her presentation is entitled “A Crossroads for Affordable Housing in Durham.” Tiffany is a real estate developer, builder, and community organizer who has been involved for years in Durham's conversations about affordable housing. If you read more about Tiffany, you'll see why she has a seasoned perspective on the challenges Durham faces in the arena of housing justice. (Also, those who have visited the Glen have seen firsthand the beautiful job Tiffany's building company Paradigm did with the lodge renovation!)

The event will be about an hour long, and you’re heartily invited to take some time afterward to walk the grounds and enjoy God’s presence and love for you in the beauty of creation.

Note: There will be no Theology Matters session in February, but you may want to consider reserving for the annual Reality Forum (at the Reality Center) on Feb 7^th!
